October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is estimated that 1 in 8 women will battle breast cancer in their lifetime. LBQ women and Trans men are often at higher risk and have a lower rate of screening. To combat this and other issues facing our community SHE Barbados with the help of MADRE will begin FREE clinics for Lesbian, Bisexual, Queer women, and Trans persons. These clinics are to ensure access to secure and sensitized services.
